Generating Reports

Steps to Generate

  1. Navigate to https://accounting.digit-tally.io
  2. Click Reports in sidebar
  3. Select report type
  4. Choose date range
  5. Apply filters if needed
  6. Click Generate Report

Report Customization

Date Range Options:

  • Presets: Today, This Month, This Year
  • Custom: Select specific dates
  • Comparison: Previous period, last year

Filters:

  • By account
  • By category
  • By customer/supplier
  • By tag
  • By workspace

Display Options:

  • Summary or detailed
  • With or without zero balances
  • Grouped by category
  • Chart visualizations

Exporting Reports

Export Formats:

  • PDF - For printing and sharing
  • Excel - For further analysis
  • CSV - For import to other software
  • Email - Send directly to recipients

Scheduling Reports

Automated Report Delivery:

  1. Select report type
  2. Click Schedule Report
  3. Set frequency (daily, weekly, monthly)
  4. Add email recipients
  5. Save schedule
